Cumulus Cloud, Late Afternoon

Original pastel painting on PastelMat card, featuring a large cumulus cloud over the sea. The work measures 12 x 9 inches (approx 30cm x 24cm) and is unframed.

A cloud study in the gently fading light of a late afternoon, above the sea. The painting aims to portray the delicate colours and soft edges of clouds as they form and break apart.

The work will be packed flat and provided with protective papers plus rigid taped boards to assist with transit.

It has been lightly sprayed with fixative and should be framed under glass with a mountboard for complete protection.

(n.b due to the natural powdery nature of pastel, a close-up view will appear grainy).
