So why Fungi?

I choose Fungi at first because of its pleasing structure. However after watching a documentary I found Fungi and mushrooms to be weird and still not fully understood.

This painting has warm minty green tones. The bokeh background is still
a challenge for me and so it continues to be my interest and style to
create this soft blurry background with circles of light.
