I used some of the flowers that were in a flower arrangement that I received from my son. The arrangement was so full and beautiful that I had to paint it.

This painting is of some hibiscus in my yard. I like the swirling vine looking greenery with the flowers.

Lavender Lily V - $500.

This flowering plant at Cypress Gardens, FL. looked like delicate hanging drops of peach color to me.

Peach Whisper - $700.

This painting was referenced in the gardens of Cypress Gardens, FL. These colorful leaves are beautiful accents and framings of the peach colored blossoms.

Pink Hibiscus on Teal - $1000.

!

36" x 48"

This painting was done for a hotel in Orlando, FL.  A decorator had a job for paintings in a Hibiscus Room. The job fell through, but the painting continued. The flower was growing in my yard.

Ruffles Hibiscus II - $200.

!

16" x 20"

This is an unusually large hibiscus. It is spectacular. I found this flower at Cypress Gardens. It looked like it had endless ruffles on each petal.

Tangerine - $250.

!

24" x 30"

I designed this painting from hibiscus growing in my yard. I was fascinated with painting the flower from different angles and getting the curled petals to actually look curled. Also as all my paintings, try to make them appear as though they are popping off the canvas.
